RISE provides education programmes for disadvantaged learners in Nottinghamshire – both formal accredited studies on the national qualifications framework and informal programmes for life skills, personal development and lifelong learning.
Our principal focus is food and related learning – understanding the environment, horticulture, cooking, catering and hospitality, and healthy living.
RISE provides, or assists in the provision of, activities for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the learning community.
RISE is a community interest company committed to community development through education, and to the development of a learning community of staff, volunteers, young people, families and supporters.
